GastroLearning Terms and Conditions of Business
Course start date
A user can register for course we support at any time prior to the advertised course date. Course providers may opt to close registration prior to the start date of the course due to oversubscription and in this even GastroLearning will stop enrollment at the request of the provider.
Payment terms and billing
A user signing up to a course via the website will be granted online access to the website, which will allow them to access the course on the start date advertised; and when payment details (if required) and/or voucher code (if applicable) have been entered.
If required, you will be asked to provide a credit, charge or debit card number from a card issuer that we accept in order to register for the course. You are also authorising to comply with the terms of any third party companies we use to accept payment. We currently use Stripe Payments Europe Ltd to process our payments and payments are subject to their Terms and Conditions which are available on their website https://stripe.com/gb/privacy.
If required, you hereby authorise us to charge your specified payment method as a one-off charge in advance for any paid Courses. You authorise the issuer of your selected payment method to pay the amount specificed on the Course you are opting for without requiring a signed receipt. You authorise us to continue to attempt to charge and/or place holds with respect to all sums described herein, or any portion thereof, to your payment method until such amounts are paid in full. You acknowledge and agree that GastroLearning will not have any liability whatsoever for any insufficient funds or other charges incurred by you as a result of attempts to charge or place on hold your specified payment methods.
Partners
This event is offered free of charge by GastroLearning, in association with our partners ("the Partner"). GastroLearning and the Partner would like to contact you about products and services that you may find interesting. Upon registering or accessing this event, GastroLearning will share your contact information with the Partner for this purpose. If you'd prefer us not to share your data with the Partner please contact events@gastrolearning.com. For more information on how we processes your personal data, please see our PRIVACY POLICY.’
Termination
Should a user fail to pay their agreed payment, we will attempt to charge your card on two more occasions. If payment fails on the third attempt, then we will cancel your Course subscription and you will no longer have access to your online portal and our services. We can re-instate your access providing the remaining balance is paid upfront.
Refusal
GastroLearning reserves the right to deny applications and course fees.
Variations
We reserve the right to update these terms and conditions. Any such modifications will only apply upon
notification of those changes to the user via email communication.
Data Protection
GastroLearning is committed to protecting your privacy. The information you provide upon registration and subscribing to our courses will be safeguarded by GastroLearning who may also use your data to keep you informed of relevant products and services. By using our services, you agree to the use of the data that we collect in accordance with our Privacy Policy (see below). If you object to being contacted, please contact us via the GastroLearning website.
Cancelling your Course attendance
Cancellation of virtual course attendance is at the discretion of the third party course organiser. If the user intends to cancel their attendance they are encouraged to contact the organiser directly at least 1 month in advance via the course page hosted by GastroLearning.
Complaints
If you have a complaint please contact GastroLearning via the website or via email. We will assess your complaint and aim to respond within 10 working days.
